The evil eye dates back to 6th century B.C. when it first appeared on drinking vessels. It's symbolism is meant to protect you from evil spirits.
This design was inspired by my own evil eye pendant, which was the only thing that survived the electrical fire in our downstairs bathroom, and prevented the fire from spreading throughout our house.
